Strawberry, beetroot and feta cheese salad with candied walnuts

The thing about salads are they make you feel so good. You can put tons of vegetables and fruits and mix them with exciting dressings. Its all about the dressing. Ingredients like mustard, apple cider, balsamic, extra virgin olive oil do wonders and take salads to another level. Herbs also play an important part and get that extra freshness throughout the salad. Honey and mustard dressing is one of the most popular dressing and I reckon its popular for a reason. Its mustardy, tangy, sweet and so delicious! Strong flavour of mustard packs an amazing punch even in your least favourite vegetable. This all purpose dressing makes for a great marinade too for barbecuing vegetables, meat or fish. This is one of those salads which has all kind of textures running through it. Sweet and juicy strawberries, crisp lettuce, crunchy onion and soft boiled beetroot lightly tossed in honey-mustard dressing. I must say that my most favourite part about this salad is spicy candied walnuts which jus...

These are baked and made from whole wheat too so they get added bonus points. You can devour a big bowl without any guilt. Pita chips are made by baking already baked pita bread in oven. Extra virgin olive oil, salt and hint of red chili powder makes these crispy and crunchy yeasty pita chips even more delish.
